About

The Workshop is a creative consultancy. We are over 50 people, based in Sheffield and London. Established in 1993 and featured in Design Week magazine’s top 50 UK design companies, we have industry credibility and a creative track record with some of the largest businesses and educational organisations in the UK.

Our in-house team includes marketing, communication, education and learning consultants, designers, copywriters, programmers, project managers, testers and dedicated proofreaders.

What we do

The Workshop develops design, marketing, communication and learning products in all media. Our services include:

Who we work with

The Workshop has a reputation for building lasting relationships with clients. We work with organisations from three main sectors: education, government and retail.

We are a qualified framework supplier of design, marketing and communications services to the Department for Children, Schools and Families, the Department for Work and Pensions, learndirect, the Learning and Skills Council, Business Link Yorkshire and the University of Sheffield.

We are educational suppliers to the BBC, Learning and Skills Improvement Service and the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children’s Services (formerly NCSL). For the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, we have created and developed the supporting website for Diploma Support.

Retail clients include Morrisons, John Smedley, BrainBox for Marks & Spencer, BP, Nick Munro and Chester Barrie of Savile Row.
