Are you an interactive designer or digital copywriter?
No agencies please.
We’re also on the lookout for freelance designers, developers and writers to complement our team. If that sounds like you, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are you immersed in the digital world, with a passion for emerging technologies and all things creative? We’re looking for an interactive digital designer to deliver innovative, user-focused designs for clients like the BBC, the RNLI and National Geographic.
You probably have a degree in design or a related field, but a strong portfolio gained in an agency environment is more important. (You’ll have worked agency-side for a minimum of two years.)
You’re experienced and expert in Flash, HTML5, Illustrator and Photoshop, with a thorough knowledge of web technologies such as HTML and CSS. You’re also familiar with wireframing and prototyping tools.
You’ve worked on products for mobile and touchscreen, and you’re familiar with responsive design. You may also have worked on interactive apps. You’ve dipped a toe or two in video and audio design and production.
You can work with a creative team to design and develop engaging, eye-catching, technically robust experiences. And you’re happy to shoulder responsibility for delivering top quality to tight deadlines.
We can offer you the opportunity to work on challenging, creative interactive briefs with an amazing client base, a competitive salary with good benefits, and a sociable work set-up in our RIBA-award winning office in Sheffield.
Please send your CV, a covering email quoting “TWS DD02/13” in the subject line, and examples of or links to your work to email@example.com. And please tell us how you found out about the job.
Do you have a passion for the written word? Are you up-to-the-minute with all things online and digital? We’re looking for a talented content writer who can make a big contribution to our creative team.
You have a relevant degree and a minimum of two years’ experience developing concepts and copy for major brands – ideally with an agency – and you’re now looking to take your career to the next level.
You’re able to consistently produce persuasive, engaging copy for web, email or print. You’re as comfortable writing to a tight brief, often within brand and tone of voice guidelines, as you are developing ideas from scratch. You can demonstrate a sound understanding of how campaigns and brands work, and practical knowledge of things like social media, SEO and PPC.
As well as being a creative thinker, you’re organised, meticulous and focused on seeing a job through. You’re able to handle the pressure from tight deadlines or demanding clients. You’re also able to articulate your ideas in front of both colleagues and clients.
We’ll help and support you as you develop your skills, taking on extra responsibilities and turning your hand to new forms of writing.
You should be prepared to demonstrate your ability, initially through links or a portfolio site, and at interview stage by working through an example brief.
We can offer you the opportunity to work on communications and branding projects with diverse and interesting clients, a competitive salary with good benefits, and a sociable work set-up in our RIBA-award winning office in Sheffield.
