What is Create?

First and foremost, Create is a food company. It caters for events of all shapes and sizes in cities across the North of England and in summer 2011, opened its first restaurant in Leeds. Create is also a ‘for more than profit’ social enterprise. Behind the scenes there is a thriving academy where marginalised people learn new skills, gain experience and find employment.

A brand is born

Our relationship with Create began last year. We developed a new brand, which helped us get to understand the organisation and what they’re all about. Our work saw us design all brand elements, including a logo, mark and tone of voice, all of which has gone on to appear on menus, uniforms, packaging and make up the fabric of the restaurant interior.

Two websites, one cause

With the brand up and running, we developed two new websites – a consumer-facing site that promotes Create’s food and another that covers their broader work as the Create Foundation. Though the sites have different audiences, they have the same structure, so that users can switch between the two and get a consistent experience. We built the sites using WordPress, which allows the team at Create to update and manage content easily and without technical support.

Lasting relationship

Create continues to go from strength to strength and we’ve been with them on their journey. Since the brand launched, we’ve developed a range of print and digital communications, from food menus and newspaper ads to promotional videos. Create are a perfect example of how we work with clients: understanding their business and building a great relationship.
