Leading British product designer, Nick Munro, decided to offer a range of 30 items for sale direct from his own website. He wanted this personal connection with his customers to be the defining characteristic of the range. We used Nick’s autograph as the key image on all the product packaging, and came up with the name: Signature collection.
We wanted to get Nick’s personality and design style across in the packaging. The tissue paper that wraps each product uses line sketches that Nick develops as he works up an idea. The sketches give customers an insight into his creative process.
Each package is completed by a leaflet featuring photography of the whole collection, with a second section of text where Nick outlines his design philosophy. This first person approach helps create special, individual products designed, made and packaged with care.
